Here are seven candidates for your voting consideration

Each week of the Georgia high school softball season we will nominate several candidates for our Georgia high school softball pitcher of the week honors and invite you to show your support for the candidate you believe is most deserving by voting.

Read up on our candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 16th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

Kendall Frost, Pope

Frost had a perfect game in seven innings with 15 strikeouts versus North Atlanta.

Caroline Stanton, Buford

The sophomore earned her first perfect game and added 10 strikeouts, and not only did she impress in the circle but at the plate as well with her three-run home run.

Morgan Sullivan, North Gwinnett

Sullivan only needed to pitch four innings, but she was masterful in her time in the circle. She struck out eight batters and didn’t allow a single run.

Ryleigh Sapp, Apalachee

Sapp completely shutdown Shiloh, she had 14 strikeouts in the shutout.

Gwen Hill, Hebron

Hill only needed five innings to get the win and 11 strikeouts versus Oconee County. She also had eight strikeouts in the win over Stephens County and earned her 200th career strikeout.

Maddie Veal, Newnan

Veal was outstanding in the win over Paulding County with her sixth complete game and ninth win. She finished with only four hits allowed and 15 strikeouts.

Lyla Morici, Kell

Morici went five innings in the circle with zero runs allowed and nine strikeouts. She also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple and two RBIs.
