Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia high school football coach of the week (Sept. 7-9) as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 16 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

Travis Noland, Jefferson: The Dragons improved to 4-0 on the season after a dominant 44-7 win over Oconee County last Friday night. The Drags are led by head coach Travis Noland.

Matt Turner, East Hall: With a 14-10 win over Chestatee last Friday, East Hall has already matched its 2022 win total. Led by head coach Matt Turner, the Vikings also got some revenge on Chestatee after losing to them 44-12 last season.

Rodney Cofield, McDonough: The Warhawks are 3-0 for the first time in program history, one that dates back to 1951, after they defeated Mount Zion 32-7 last Friday night. The Warhawks are led by head coach Rodney Cofield.

Dan Devine, Woodstock: The losing streak is over at Woodstock. After back-to-back 0-10 seasons, the Wolverines are back in the win column under first-year head coach Dan Devine after they took down Lassiter 20-10 last Friday night.

John Poitevint, Mountain View: After a tough go of things against Lambert in Week 3, Mountain View took out their frustrations on Jackson County last Friday night, crushing them 56-14. The Bears are led by head coach John Poitevint.
