Each week of the Georgia high school softball season we will nominate several candidates for our Georgia high school softball pitcher of the week honors and invite you to show your support for the candidate you believe is most deserving by voting.
Read up on our candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 9th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations.
Victoria Na, North Gwinnet
Na was the winning pitcher in the first game of a two-game series against Flowery Branch. She struck out ten batters in five innings and not allowing a single run. At the plate she went 3-4 with three runs.
Emma Grace, Buford
The senior earned her third win of the season with a shutout against Central Gwinnett. Buford dominated from the jump in the 17-0 victory and in only three innings Grace struck out seven and didn’t allow a single hit.
Malorie Watson, Walnut Grove
Watson picked up the win in the circle versus North Oconee, while going 3-4 at the plate with a home run.
Maddie Veal, Newnan
Veal threw a complete game shutout versus Pike County, with ten strikeouts and no runs allowed. She also went 2-3 at the plate.
Hannah Cole, Lambert
Cole threw a complete game of eight innings to earn the win over West Forsyth. She only had one earned run and struck out 16 batters.
Amber Blackwell, Lassiter
Blackwell threw a no-hitter in the win over Alpharetta and also helped her cause with two hits including a home run.
Payton Terrell, Bremen
In Bremen's last six games, Terrell made five starts and one relief appearance, pitching 31 innings while allowing only runs (only one earned). She averaged 1.7 strikeouts per game for a total of 52 Ks.
