The third week of the Georgia high school football season is in the books.

Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia Defensive Player of the Week.


Middle-GA-Def

Lovejoy junior Nizhan Feagin was voted last week's SBLive Middle Georgia Defensive Player of the Week. Feagin came up with two interceptions and two tackles, including one tackle for loss, in a 37-0 victory against Jackson.

Read up on this week's six candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 9th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Braxton Davies, Northgate: Davies was tackling machine in the Vikings’ loss to Villa Rica. The junior racked up 11.5 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss.

Isaiah Gibson, Warner Robins: Gibson showed why he’s being recruited by some of the nation’s top college football programs. The four-star junior had 2.5 sacks in a win over Northside.

Jordan Jones, Thomson: The junior helped the Bulldogs pitch a shutout against Grovetown. Jones totaled two sacks and two tackles for loss in a 38-0 victory against the Warriors.

Isaiah Moorman, Johnson County: The senior finished with seven tackles, including one tackle for loss, and forced one fumble.

Armani Thomas, Augusta Westside: Thomas hauled in one interception and forced one fumble for the Patriots in a 28-16 win over Screven County.

Jontavius Wyman, Jonesboro: Wyman was the ultimate ball-hawk in a 30-29 win against Dutchtown. The sophomore tallied three interceptions, two of which he returned for a touchdown.
