Korey Mobbs, Jackson County: The Panthers earned a thrilling 32-26 double overtime victory Friday night against Central Gwinnett to improve to 2-1 on the season. In his first season as head coach of the Panthers, Korey Mobbs has the Panthers playing some good ball to start the season.
Cameron Pettus, East Jackson: The Eagles are off to a terrific start to the season after beating West Hall 42-7 to improve to 3-0 on the season. Led by head coach Cameron Pettus, the Eagles are 3-0 first the first time since 2019.
Austin Crisp, Ringgold: Trailing 17-3, the Tigers stormed back to beat Northwest Whitfield 18-17 Friday night. Led by first-year head coach Austin Crisp, the Tigers avenge a loss to Northwest Whitfield from one season ago and are now 2-0 on the season.
Austin Barron, Villa Rica: Wildcats head coach Austin Barron scored his first career win at Villa Rica Friday night after they took down Northgate 24-23. With the win, the Wildcats draw een on the season at 1-1.
Santavious Bryant, Grayson: The Rams improved to 2-1 on the season Friday night after beating Fort Dorchester (Sc.) 41-0. Led by first-year head coach Santavious Bryant, the Rams’ defense has pitched back-to-back shutouts.
Bryan Allison, East Forsyth: The Broncos improved to 2-0 on the season after handing business against Cedar Shoals 35-13. Led by head coach Bryan Allison, It’s the second year in a row that the Broncos have beaten Cedar Shoals.
