OUTLOOK
The NWC will see yet another first-year head coach this season in new Bellingham hire, Andre Triplett, who served as an assistant for the team in 2018.
He inherits a squad that returns a decent amount of starters on both sides of the ball, and one that should be pretty dominant on both the offensive and defensive lines.
Last year’s crew was able to earn a share of first place in the NWC Lake Division, which it split between Sehome and Mountlake Terrace.
The league will be competitive once again this year, which means that Triplett will be thrown into a very competitive situation from day one.
If the Raiders can get the most out of their returning skill position players on offense and control the line of scrimmage on both sides with their size, they should be able to secure another winning season.
