In the days since Washington Gov. Jay Inslee issued new statewide reopening metrics for high school sports, leagues across the states are meeting to decide whether to stick with the WIAA's pandemic-condensed 2021 season structure, or branch off for the year and make their own.

On this week's episode of the SBLive Washington podcast, which published Thursday, Dan Dickau, Todd Milles and Andy Buhler discuss the myriad ways the high school sports world is preparing for a potential return to play. Plus, Saint George's School athletic director, head boys basketball coach and COVID coordinator joins (11:15 mark) to talk about how feasible a return-to-play is under the state's new reopening plan.
