Baseball Coach of the Week Vote

Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Florida High School Baseball Coach of the Week of Feb. 19-Feb. 24 as nominated by SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Mar. 4th.

Here are the nominees:

Adam Moravick, Seminole: One of the top teams in all of the Tampa Bay area has been the Warhawks and they went undefeated in Week 1, picking up impressive wins along the way against Dunedin and Venice.

Ralph Suarez, Doral Academy: It's four up and four down for Doral Academy at the outset of the season. Suarez and crew have done a nice job shutting down teams, only yielding 10 runs.

Jason Smith, Beachside: Runs come at a premium whenever you face the Barracudas, because they're not giving up any of them. Through two games, Smith's bunch has tallied 30 runs to zero allowed.

Andy Compton, Chipley: After winning a Class 1A state championship last season, the Tigers are back for more. Compton and his guys have been stingy when it comes to runs, only allowing two and scoring 18 in wins against Blountstown and Poplar Springs.

Nolan Neiman, Manatee: The Hurricanes are trending on an upwards trajectory currently under Neiman. So far through two games, Manatee has defeated the likes of Lakewood Ranch and Southeast.
