It's playoff basketball time around the state of Florida and action continues tonight as the region quarterfinals begin.
One of the top matchups in the Sunshine State taking place tonight is between the Lincoln Trojans (18-6) and Ponte Vedra Sharks (20-7).
The Trojans and Sharks have not met this season and kickoff the Class 6A, Region 1 action. The Sharks are aiming to pickup win No. 21 on the season.
Ponte Vedra is led in the scoring department by senior shooting guard Sam Ritchie, who is averaging a team-high 14.6 points per game. The winner of tonight's contest will face the winner of Oakleaf-Gainesville.
