How to watch: Naples vs. Clearwater girls basketball 5A region quarterfinal
It's playoff basketball time around the state of Florida and action continues tonight as the region quarterfinals begin.
One of the top matchups in the Sunshine State taking place tonight is between the Naples Golden Eagles (10-16) and Clearwater Tornadoes (15-6). The Golden Eagles and Tornadoes have not met this season and kickoff the Class 5A, Region 3 action. The Tornadoes are aiming to pickup win No. 16 on the season.
Clearwater is led in the scoring department by senior shooting guard Allevia Williams, who is averaging a team-high 17.5 points per game.
The winner of tonight's contest will face the winner of Port Charlotte-Sebring.
