How to watch: Beachside vs. Ponte Vedra boys basketball district quarterfinal
It's district basketball time around the state of Florida and action continues tonight as the quarterfinals begin.
One of the top matchups in the Sunshine State taking place tonight is between the Beachside Barracudas (13-11) and Ponte Vedra Sharks (17-7). The Barracudas and Sharks have not met this season and kickoff the Class 6A, District 3 tournament. The Sharks are aiming to pickup win No. 18 on the season.
Ponte Vedra is led in the scoring department by senior guard Sam Ritchie, who is averaging a team-high 13.7 points per game.
The winner of tonight's contest will face the winner of Fleming Island-Orange Park.
