Here are the nominations: 

Liam McNeely, Boys Basketball, Montverde Academy: The 6-foot-8 forward scored 19 points to lead the unbeaten Eagles (22-0) to a hard-fought 78-72 victory against Prolific Prep (Calif.) in the championship game of the 2024 Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament. 

Angelo Blas, Boys Basketball, Imagine School at North Port: Blas went off in a 75-51 win over Saint Stephen’s Episcopal, scoring a game-high 30 points, seven steals and six rebounds. 

Connor Heald, Boys Basketball, Cardinal Mooney: Heald has been Cardinal Mooney's top player throughout the season and showed why again last week. The senior scored 25 points in the Cougars’ impressive 66-54 win over Seffner Christian. 

Josiah Shackelford, Boys Basketball, Sanford Seminole: Talented 6-foot-4 senior scored a team-high 27 points to lead the Seminoles past Central Florida Christian Academy, 64-56.

Julius Miles, Boys Basketball, Freeport: The sensational sophomore has been great all year for the Bulldogs, scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 boards in a thrilling 64-62 win over Laurel Hill. 

Kee’shaun Hudson, Boys Basketball, Cottondale: The experienced senior scored 22 points on an efficient 9-of-17 shooting in a 52-42 win over Chipley. 

Talon Brooks, Boys Basketball, Osceola: Brooks had another strong outing for the Warriors, scoring a team-high 27 points in a 77-44 win over Pinellas Park. 

Nickolas Bearden, Boys Basketball, Shorecrest Prep: The junior guard scored a team-high 31 points in the Chargers’ 63-53 win over Indian Rocks Christian.

Elijah Ahlers, Boys Basketball, Northside Christian: The freshman had a solid game for the Mustangs in a win over Keswick Christian, scoring a game-high 27 points. 

Sam Ritchie, Boys Basketball, Ponte Vedra: The senior guard was at it again in the Sharks’ 79-48 win over Bartram Trail, scoring 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting. 

Calven Charles, Boys Basketball, Palmetto Ridge: One of SWFL's top players all season long has been Charles and he showed why against last week against Fort Myers. Charles scored a team-high 26 points in a tight victory over the Green Wave. 

Carson Crawford, Boys Basketball, Fleming Island: Golden Eagles have received great play from the freshman all season long. Crawford led the way in a 69-58 win over Port St. Lucie, scoring 22 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. 

Zeke Battier, Boys Basketball, Ransom Everglades: Battier, son of former NBA'er Shane Battier, had an impressive individual performance against Somerset Academy South Homestead. Despite in a loss, the sophomore had 34 points and 13 rebounds to post a double-double. 

Molly Beliveau, Girls Basketball, Leesburg The First Academy: The senior scored 12 points and grabbed 16 rebounds for a double-double in a 41-20 win against Maitland Orangewood Christian.

Kylee Kitts, Girls Basketball, Hagerty:The 6-foot-2 senior exploded for a ridiculous 41 points in a dominant 63-45 victory against cross-town rival Oviedo. 

Hailey Hunt, Girls Basketball, East Ridge: One of the top performances was turned in by Hunt in a stellar performance with 29 points and 10 rebounds in a 64-57 double-overtime triumph against Olympia. 

Julianna Nieves, Girls Basketball, Ida Baker: Nieves filled up the stat sheet last week for Ida Baker as she scored 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals in a win over Mariner.
