MONTVERDE, FLORIDA – A heavyweight field of McDonald’s All-Americans and Top 25 national basketball powers will be on hand in Central Florida this weekend at the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament (MAIT).

Host Montverde Academy, the No. 1 team in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 boys national basketball rankings, will welcome four other Florida squads as well Imani Christian (Pennsylvania), Brewster Academy (New Hampshire), the nation’s No. 11 team, and Prolific Prep (California), the No. 4 team in the country.

In addition, there is a chance that Saturday’s championship game could see six 2024 McDonald’s All-Americans on the floor at the same time, as Montverde and Prolific Prep boast three each.

Prolific Prep’s All-American’s are Washington commit Zoom Diallo and a pair of Alabama recruits, Derrion Reid and Aide Sherrell. Monteverde’s Cooper Flagg, a Duke signee and the nation’s No. 1 rated player, leads the Eagles’ contingent of McDonald’s All-Americans. He is joined by Indiana signee Liam McNeeley and uncommitted Derik Queen.
