Koby Howard, 2025 4-star wide receiver, transfers from Western to Chaminade-Madonna

Howard has transferred for the second time in two years

For the third time in about a week, the nationally-ranked Chaminade-Madonna Lions have received another big time transfer in.

Coincidentally, it’s another one of South Florida’s top offensive talents heading to the back-to-back Class 1M championship program.

According to Rivals.com’s Frank Tucker Tuesday afternoon, 2025 4-star wide receiver Koby Howard has transferred from Western to Chaminade-Madonna.  Howard transferred last offseason from Pensacola Catholic to Western.

Howard joins former True North Classical quarterback Zac Katz, who transferred to the Lions just last week, and former Monarch wide receiver Jabari Brady, as apart of an offense that is seemingly reloading. Chaminade-Madonna is losing senior stars like wide receivers Jeremiah Smith, Joshisa Trader, running back Davion Gause and quarterback Cedrick Bailey.

Last season at Western, Howard helped the Wildcats reach the Class 4M region finals before falling to state champion Columbus. The junior wide receiver ended 2023 hauling in 65 passes for 1,065 yards and scored eight touchdowns.

Howard will be apart of a Chaminade-Madonna wide receiving corps that now includes Brady and also returns junior Kyle Washington and sophomore Denairius Gray, who just committed to Auburn.
