The Holiday Season is also the time high school basketball starts to get into full swing, with numerous tournaments, and teams closing in on the heart of their schedules.

South Florida continues to be a hotbed for high level prep basketball.

SBLive Sports Florida recognizes the top performers in our South Florida boys basketball Player of the Week poll.

Our polls aim to honor as many players from as many schools as possible, as we cover plenty of ground in South Florida. Reminder, these polls are intended to be fun, and we encourage all players, schools and coaches to provide as much details about their clubs as possible, which assists us in our selection process.

In our polls, you can vote as often as you’d like. Fans also are encouraged to spread the word. Voting will conclude Sunday, December 24th at 11:59 p.m.

(FYI, players, coaches and schools are encouraged to send nominees to @JoeFrisaro on X, formerly Twitter)
