Berkeley Prep upsets Norland: Live score updates, Florida (FHSAA) 2M football state championship
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Saturday's Florida Class 2M state championship showdown between Norland and Berkeley Prep is part of the 2023 Florida (FHSAA) high school football championships, which will feature nine games over three days at Florida A&M University.
Norland (13-0) comes into the game ranked No. 22 in the country in the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national high school football rankings.

4TH QUARTER UPDATES
FINAL: BERKELEY PREP 28, NORLAND 20
Joseph Troupe converts on 4th-and-1 for Berkeley Prep with 1:47 to play and that seals the game. The Buccaneers run out the clock and pull off the 28-20 upset over Norland to capture the Florida Class 2M football state championship.

BERKELEY PREP 28, NORLAND 20: The Buccaneers have the ball with under 2 minutes to play and are trying to run out the clock. Joseph Troupe's incredible run on 3rd-and-18 may have sealed the victory.
TOUCHDOWN NORLAND! The Vikings still have a heartbeat. Juan Rodriguez scores on a 26-yard TD pass from Ennio Ejay Yapoor to cut Berkeley Prep's lead to 28-20 with 4:30 left in the game.
TOUCHDOWN BERKELEY PREP! Dallas Golden explodes for a 37-yard run around the right end down to the 1-yard line, then Cooper Hayes scores three plays later on a one-yard QB sneak to give Berkeley Prep a 28-13 lead with 5:37 left in the game.
TURNOVER! Berkeley Prep botches the snap on field goal attempt and Norland takes over on its own 19-yard line with 9:00 to play, trailing 21-13.
ONSIDE KICK! Norland catches Berkeley Prep napping with an onside kick to start the fourth quarter and the Norland kicker, Noah Sidan, recovers his own kick. But the officials rule the ball did not travel 10 yards and give the ball to Berkeley Prep. Tough to tell on replay, but it was very close. Berkeley Prep has the ball at midfield to start the fourth quarter, leading 21-13.

3RD QUARTER UPDATES
BERKELEY PREP 21, NORLAND 13, END OF 3RD QUARTER
TOUCHDOWN NORLAND! The Vikings answer right back on a 4-yard touchdown run by QB Ennio Ejay Yapoor on the final play of the third quarter. Impressive 1:10 drive by the Vikings to cut the lead to 21-13. The PAT was blocked.
TOUCHDOWN BERKELEY PREP! The Buccaneers take a 21-7 lead on a 7-yard touchdown pass from Cooper Hayes to Joseph Troupe with 1:10 left in the third quarter. The TD pass capped a 12-play, 95-yard drive. The No. 22 team in the country is in trouble.
TURNOVER! The Vikings march down the field on the first possession of the second half and turn it over on 4th down and goal from the 5-yard line. Norland QB Ennio Ejay Yapoor's 4th-down pass sails through the back of the end zone. Still 14-7 Berkeley Prep with under 8 minutes left in the third quarter.
Norland will have the ball to start the second half, trailing 14-7.

2ND QUARTER UPDATES
HALFTIME: BERKELEY PREP 14, NORLAND 7
We have an upset brewing in the Florida Class 2M high school football state championship game. Dallas Golden had a big first half for Berkeley Prep with 45 rushing yards, 38 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Golden is a 4-star junior with offers from Alabama, Auburn and many other Power 5 programs.
TOUCHDOWN BERKELEY PREP! On the first play after the fumble recovery Dallas Golden scores on a 13-yard touchdown run to give Berkeley Prep a 14-7 lead with 3:10 left in the first half. Golden now has a touchdown catch and a touchdown run.
FUMBLE! Titus Bullard sacks Norland QB Ennio Ejay Yapoor and forces a fumble. Nikhil Jefferson recovers the fumble on Norland's 13-yard line.
TOUCHDOWN NORLAND! The Vikings tie it up at 7-7 on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Ennio Ejay Yapoor to Ivory Aikens with 6:46 left in the first half.
TOUCHDOWN BERKELEY PREP! The Buccaneers take a 7-0 lead on a 26-yard screen pass from Cooper Hayes to Dallas Golden with 10:05 left in the first half.
Berkeley Prep has the ball to start the second quarter in a scoreless game. Their first two drives ended in a punt and an interception.

1ST QUARTER UPDATES
NORLAND 0, BERKELEY PREP 0, END OF 1ST QUARTER
FUMBLE! Norland WR Jade Card fumbles and Berkeley Prep recovers near midfield. Less than eight minutes into this game we already have three turnovers, two by Norland.
INTERCEPTION! Norland safety Kaleb Lawrence picks off a pass and takes it 99 yards for a touchdown, but the TD is negated by a penalty on the return. What a play by Lawrence. It came on a 4th down and 2 pass from Berkeley Prep inside the 5-yard line. Still 0-0 with 5:42 left in the first quarter.
INTERCEPTION! Norland tries a double-pass, trick play on its first play from scrimmage and WR Joaquin Reid throws an interception. Sophomore CB Josh Herrmann comes up with the interception for Berkeley Prep.
Berkeley Prep will have the ball to start the game.
