The Florida High School Football Playoffs have begun and we continue our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances in the region quarterfinals.

As such, we have 10 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s South Suncoast Florida high school football offensive player of the week award from November 9-10, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 18th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Jadyn Glasser, QB, Venice: The Central Michigan commitment completed 11-of-16 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns in a 53-6 rout of Lakewood Ranch. 

Alvin Johnson III, RB, Venice: Johnson III had a big night against the Mustangs, rushing for 102 yards on 12 carries and scoring two touchdowns. 

Braxton Thomas, QB, Sarasota Riverview: The dual-threat quarterback showed off his arm and legs in a 49-20 win over Palmetto, totaling 201 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. 

Isaiah Belt, RB, Sarasota Riverview: Belt ran wild in the Rams' win over the Tigers, rushing for 141 yards on 19 carries and scoring two touchdowns. 

Clayton Dees, QB, Palmetto: The FIU commitment completed 16 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in Palmetto's loss to Sarasota Riverview. 

Jackson Volz, QB, Parrish Community: Volz threw for 146 yards on 13-of-22 passing in the Bulls' 42-0 loss to Naples last week. 

Andrew Heidel, QB, Manatee: The junior quarterback accounted for two touchdowns in Manatee's 38-0 defeat of Charlotte. 

Lorenzo Mauceri, QB, Lemon Bay: Mauceri totaled over 200 all-purpose yards in leading the Manta Rays to a 39-7 win over Frostproof. 

Allen Clark, RB, Out-of-Door: The running back came up huge in a SSAA Class 4A state title game, rushing for 181 yards and three touchdowns against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy. 

Edd Guerrier, RB, Port Charlotte: The Rutgers commit rushed for 210 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Pirates’ 68-31 rout of Barron Collier.
