Vote: Who should be SBLive's North Central Florida football defensive player of the week (11/7/2023)?
High school football is back in the Sunshine State and so begins our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances in Week 11.
As such, we have nine athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s North Central Florida Defensive Football Player of the Week award from November 2-3, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 11th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominees:
Isaac Johnson, LB, Bell: Johnson made a team-high 13 tackles in a 21-14 loss to Space Coast.
Octavius Hodge, LB, Madison County: The junior linebacker racked up 12 tackles and a sack in the Cowboys’ 34-21 win over Rickards.
Jacob Cooper, LB, Lake Weir: Cooper tallied seven tackles and three went for a loss in the Hurricanes’ 26-21 win over Stanton.
Jacob Dyer, LB, Trinity Catholic: Dyer made four tackles and deflected two passes in the Celtics’ 43-20 loss to Buchholz.
J’Dyen Manneh, DB, Trenton: The defensive back made a team-high nine tackles in a 49-22 win over Tenoroc.
Wyatt Hester, LB, Newberry: Hester compiled 10 tackles and five went for loss in a 45-0 win over Belleview.
Bode Burns, LB, Dunnellon: Burns racked up six tackles, three went for a loss and two sacks in a 40-6 win over Zephyrhills.
Trenton Klein, LB, Union County: Klein made four tackles, two for a loss and a sack in the Tigers’ 42-0 win over Ambassadors Christian Academy.
Jonathan Moxley, DB, Williston: The senior defensive back tallied an interception in a 65-7 win over Citrus.
