With the playoffs upon us, the teams that are most likely to advance are those who can wrap up on defense.

It’s no secret that strong defense increases a team's chance of winning a championship.

South Florida, as always, is filled with standouts on the defensive side of the ball. We just witnessed it again last week, with pick sixes and high tackle totals.

SBLive Sports Florida now asks you to decide who is the South Florida Defensive Player of the Week in our regular season finale poll.

Vote as often as you’d like and spread the word! Voting will end on Saturday, November 11th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

(Reminder: Players, coaches, schools are encouraged to send their nominees to @JoeFrisaro on X)
