Vote: Who should be SBLive's Florida high school football coach of the week (10/29/2023)?

We have eight candidates up for voting from last week's games
Coach of the Week

Congratulations to last week’s winner: Jesse Chinchar, Clearwater Academy International

Here are this week's nominees:

Karl Calhoun, Sanford Seminole: The Seminoles' alum and now lead man guided his team to one of the most thrilling games/wins of the past weekend. Calhoun led Seminole to a 29-28 win over previously undefeated Lake Mary.

Jimmy Robertson, Saint Andrew's: For the first time in 41 years, the Scots are district champions. Robertson led his team to a 41-14 win over Somerset Academy-Canyons, giving Saint Andrew's the Class 2M, District 10 crown.

Evan Davis, Armwood: Finally the Hawks notch a victory over Tampa Bay Tech. For the first time in three seasons, Armwood was able to edge Tampa Bay Tech and dispatched the Titans 51-34 for the Class 3M, District 4 title.

Travis Gabriel, Olympia: Gabriel is feeling good every time he walks into his coaches' office now. That's because the Titans' lead man can look at the new district championship hardware he's led the program to after defeating West Orange 34-20 for the Class 4M, District 5 title.

Tommy Joe Whiddon, Mosley: When many thought it wouldn't be possible, Joe Whiddon had his guys believing. The Dolphins kept that hope and narrowly got by rival Niceville 29-28 for the Class 4S, District 2 championship.

Jacquez Green, Manatee: Avenging a district championship game loss to Palmetto was on the minds of everyone when Manatee met the Tigers in the Cross River rivalry. Green led the Hurricanes to a 38-33 win and the Class 4S, District 13 title.

Collin Drafts, Nease: In what could be labeled one of the most exciting games of the year, Drafts made it happen for the Panthers. Drafts led Nease to a 24-23 upset win over Ponte Vedra and winning the Class 4S, District 4 championship.

Mike Williams, Robinson: It's been a little over a decade since the Knights last won a district championship. Now, the Robinson Knights of South Tampa can finally celebrate a district crown as Williams led the team to a sound 39-0 drubbing of Blake to claim the Class 2M, District 6 championship.
