Voting closes on November 30th, 11:59pm

Here are the nominations:

Cooper Flagg, F, Montverde Academy: Don’t go off of numbers from last season’s team as it does Flagg a disservice. Look at what he has done over the summer. His performances week in and week out for Maine is a preview of what Flagg will do on the floor for the Eagles this fall/winter.

Cameron Boozer, F, Columbus: Guarding Boozer in the painted area is just unfair for other high school forwards. The junior, son of former NBA’er Carlos Boozer, had himself a strong sophomore season, averaging 21.1 points per game for the defending Class 7A state champions.

Isaiah Brown, SG, Orlando Christian Prep: The 6-foot-6 shooting guard nearly single-handily made sure the Warriors won another state championship last season. Brown averaged 18.6 points per game a year ago and is already a University of Florida commitment.

Lorenzo Cason, SG, Victory Christian Academy: When it came to putting up some monster single game performances, Cason was him. The shooting guard scored 57 points against Auburndale last season and averaged 27.6 points per game for the 2022-2023 campaign.

Dante Allen, PG, Riviera Prep: There might not be any better shot creator than Allen. Apart of last year’s Class 3A state championship team and leading the way was Allen’s 21.6 points per game on 61 percent shooting.

Gavin Williams, SG, Bishop Verot: The 6-foot, 155-pound combo guard can do a little bit of everything. Williams best ability, though, is making buckets as the guard averaged 23.2 points per game for Evangelical Christian. Williams transferred to Bishop Verot over the offseason.

Isaiah Newson, PG, North Fort Myers: Playing at Cape Coral High School last season, Newson came onto the scene and proved to be big time. The point guard averaged 22.3 points per game and now will be featured at North Fort Myers.

Trey Murray, SG, Wesley Chapel: In all of the Tampa Bay Area, Murray led everyone in points per game. Bad news for opposing teams but he’s back for more after averaging 27.7 points per game for the Wildcats.

Isaac Celiscar, SG, Winter Haven: Almost leading the Blue Devils to a state championship wasn’t the goal for Celiscar. The shooting guard returns after averaging around 16 points per contest. Celiscar is a Yale commitment.

Daniel Macgregor, PG, Clearwater Calvary Christian: No matter how you try to defend him, Macgregor will find a way to get to the cup. The point guard is a difficult cover and opposing teams find that out real fast as Macgregor averaged 21.8 points per game through 25 contests.

Keniel Velez, SG, Vine Christian Academy: Through 21 games played last season, Velez was one of the overall leaders in points scored per game. Velez made 67 percent of his shots, averaging a cool 30.7 points per contest.

Daniel Delgardo III, SG, Leto: If you’re looking for someone to fill up the stat sheet, you don’t have to look too much further than Delgardo III. The combo guard averaged 22.1 points per game for the Falcons through 27 games last year.
