Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Florida High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 16-21 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, October 21st at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. Here are this week's nominations:

Brady Hart, Football, Cocoa: In a literally perfect performance in a 63-0 win over Astronaut, Hart went 7-for-7, 132 yards and five touchdowns.  

Caleb Cotton, Football, Master’s Academy: The quarterback had one of the more prolific performances of any player. Cotton threw for 218 yards, five touchdowns and also rushed for 176 and two scores. 

Antonio Muniz, Football, Gulf: Muniz is becoming a weekly candidate these days on this list as the running back churned out 202 yards and five touchdowns in the victory over the Falcons. 

Luke Douglas, Football, Jupiter: The Warriors’ signal caller was nearly perfect in the team’s 36-6 win over Forest Hill. Douglas completed 12-of-13 for 150 yards and three touchdowns. 

Noah Grubbs, Football, Lake Mary: Grubbs is on his way to a historic season overall and had another spectacular performance in a 49-21 win over Apopka. The sophomore threw for 367 yards on 21-of-31 passing and four touchdowns. 

Mason Mallory, Football, West Boca Raton: The southpaw had himself a big night in the Bulls’ 58-0 victory over Northeast. Mallory completed 9-of-10 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns. 

Alvon Isaac, Football, Hawthorne: Isaac, a USF commitment, went off in the Hornets’ 54-8 win over North Marion as he hauled in four passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. 

Jackson LaTour, Football, Oviedo: LaTour and the Lions handed Lyman its first loss in dominating fashion. The signal caller threw for 290 yards and five touchdowns in a 49-21 win over the Greyhounds. 

Tristian Johnson, Football, Somerset Academy-Canyons: The tailback put up some big numbers in the team’s 49-7 win over Jupiter Christian. Johnson rushed for 239 yards on 19 carries and scored two touchdowns. 

Jeremy Johnston, Football, FSU High: Johnston was nearly on the verge of perfection in the Seminoles 43-13 defeat of Rickards. The quarterback completed 17-of-20 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns. 

Bjorn Jurgensen, Football, Bishop Moore: The Hornets’ quarterback had one of the top passing performances of any quarterback in the state, completing 10-of-14 passes for 215 yards and six touchdowns in a 59-0 win over Deltona. 

Ja’Cari Jackson, Football, Ocoee: Jackson only needed five passes to throw for 176 yards and two touchdowns in the Knights’ 52-21 win over Windermere. 

Carter Smith, Football, Bishop Verot: Smith accounted for 288 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns as the Vikings rolled to a dominant 50-14 win over Cardinal Mooney. 

Whitlee Harvey, Volleyball, Wakulla: The sophomore outside hitter tallied 21 kills in the War Eagles’ 3-2 match win over Baker County for the Class 4A, District 2 championship. 

Fabiana Capone, Volleyball, Cardinal Gibbons: The senior outside hitter notched 21 kills in a 3-2 win against Pine Crest for the Class 4A, District 14 title. 

Fallon Stewart, Volleyball, Winter Park: Stewart tallied a team-high 38 kills in the Wildcats’ 3-2 match win over Timber Creek for the Class 7A, District 4 championship.
