We have eight candidates up for voting from last week's games
Coach of the Week

Congratulations to last week’s winner: Jesse Chinchar, Clearwater Academy International

Here are this week's nominees:

Jesse Chinchar, Clearwater Academy International: In maybe one of the craziest endings to a football game you'll ever see from last week led to another wild finish this past Friday. Chinchar earned win No. 100 in his coaching career and upended Lakeland at Bryant Stadium 35-34.

Mike Johnson, Cypress Creek: For the first time in school history, the Coyotes are undefeated through the first eight games. Johnson is the mastermind behind Cypress Creek's success and led the team to a thrilling come-from-behind 41-34 win over Parrish Community.

Jay Walls, Navarre: The Raiders' head coach has his program playing as good as any team on the Florida Panhandle. Walls has Navarre on a 6-game winning streak and just upended Pace 25-24.

Colby Roberts, Aucilla Christian: The Warriors just keep on winning under the watch of Roberts. He led Aucilla Christian to a 31-14 over Bell, keeping the Warriors undefeated and now at 8-0.

Josh Phillips, Sarasota: Your first win is always your most memorable and for Phillips, its been a longtime coming. The former Manatee defensive coordinator led the Sailors to a 25-6 win over Southeast on the road.

Jason Griffin, Bozeman: There was a lot of chatter heading into the battle of 1R foes and it would be the Bucks coming out on top. Griffin led Bozeman to a thrilling 25-24 victory over a talented Chipley club.

Ty Lawrence, South Sumter: Wanting to make a statement in North Central Flrida, Lawrence and the Raiders did so. Lawrence led South Sumter to a dominating 40-20 victory over Vanguard at home.

Darren White, Walton: In one of the most exciting games of Week 9, White led the Braves to an exciting 43-42 victory over Gadsden County. Walton improved to 8-0 on the season.
