We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s Upper State South Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week from Sept. 21-22 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Sept. 30th at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

Luke Gray, Pendleton

The Bulldogs’ quarterback was 24-of-30 for 329 yards and 7 touchdowns in a 61-7 runaway win over Palmetto.

Qua Alexander, Belton-Honea Path

Alexander caught 7 passes for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns as the undefeated Bears outscored Walhalla 63-35.

Colton Link, Landrum

Quarterbacks seldom have games like Link did Friday night. Link ran 21 times for a whopping 407 yards and 6 touchdowns in the Cardinals’ 74-34 win over Blue Ridge.

Chris Hall, Greer

Hall, a converted wide receiver, threw for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 56-42 loss to Westside. He also ran 21 times for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Tucker Hendrix, Christ Church

Hendrix was 8-of-12 for 261 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Cavaliers raced past McCormick 60-14.

Cortez Lane, Cardinal Newman

The senior tailback, who has six college offers, ran 17 times for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns in the undefeated Cardinals’ 31-0 win over Ben Lippen.

A.J. Brand, Irmo

Brand ran wild in a 56-0 pounding of Airport. The junior quarterback was 17-of-20 for 346 yards and 6 touchdowns along with a rushing touchdown.

Khalen Bostick, Chapin

The Eagles’ junior wide receiver caught 15 passes for 167 yards in a 22-7 victory over A.C. Flora.

Josh Williams, Westside

Williams, a wide receiver, caught 6 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown to go along with a 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Finley Polk, Northwestern

The junior dual-threat quarterback keeps putting up big numbers. In a 56-14 rout of rival Rock Hill, Polk was 16-of-24 for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns. On the ground, he ran 15 times for 86 yards and 3 touchdowns.
