Central Florida players are increasing their showstopping performances on the offensive side of the ball as they head into the second half of the 2023 high school football season.

Athletes from seven counties dazzled plenty of folks during Week 5 games. We checked out teams from Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Brevard, and Indian River counties and nominated 29 athletes for this week’s SBLive Central Florida high school football offensive player of the week from Sept. 21-23.

We ask you, the fan, to decide who should be the top player selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. The poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

Michael Clayton, QB, Edgewater (Orlando): Sophomore signal-caller completed 14 of 23 passes for 221 yards and four TDs in a 27-0 shutout of previously unbeaten Apopka.

Semaj Fleming, ATH, Edgewater (Orlando): The ultra-talented junior caught five passes for 104 yards and one TD, and rushed for 15 yards against Apopka.

Malachi Walters, QB, University (Orange City): Talented junior continues to impress, completing 23 of 29 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns and converting the winning 2-point conversion in a 29-28 victory against Flagler Palm Coast.

Vernell Brown III, WR/ATH, Jones (Orlando): Returned a punt 80 yards for a TD, and caught a 40-yard TD pass in a 44-14 victory against West Orange.

Trever Jackson, QB, Jones (Orlando):Ole Miss commit threw TD passes of 40 and 29 yards for the Tigers.

Jordyn Bridgewater, WR, West Orange (Winter Garden): UCF commit caught four passes for 84 yards and two TDs (11 and 48 yards) against Jones.

AJ Williams, QB, Winter Park: Threw for 255 yards and three TDs, including a 61-yarder, and ran for a score in a 28-13 win against Evans (Orlando).

Evan Van Dyke, WR, Winter Park: Caught TD passes of 61 and 7 yards against Evans.

Stanley Anderson-Lofton, QB, Dr. Phillips (Orlando): Threw a 27-yard TD pass and ran for a 3-yard TD to lead the Panthers past Boone (Orlando), 21-3.

Karson Siqueiros-Lasky, QB, Seminole (Sanford): Completed 16 of 26 passes for 226 yards and four TDs to lead the Seminoles past previously unbeaten Vero Beach, 45-20.

Marvin Brown, WR, Seminole (Sanford):The senior caught six passes for 71 yards and two TDs against Vero Beach.

Noah Grubbs, QB, Lake Mary: Stellar sophomore quarterback, one of the most highly recruited 10th-graders in the nation, completed 23 of 34 passes for 381 yards and six TDs in a 42-7 romp against previously unbeaten Spruce Creek (Port Orange).

Carson Hinshaw, WR, Lake Mary: Fleet-footed wide receiver caught eight passes for 167 yards and two TDs, including a 74-yarder, against Spruce Creek.

Javon Ross, WR/DB, DeLand: Superb athlete scored two TDs, including a 34-yard run, to lead the Bulldogs to a 50-0 shutout of Daytona Beach Seabreeze.

Khamani Robinson, RB, Mainland (Daytona Beach): Ran 20 times for 152 yards, including a 72-yard TD run, in a wild 31-28 victory against Lake Minneola.

Jacob Gettman, K, Mainland (Daytona Beach): Kicked the game-winning 26-yard field to beat Lake Minneola and keep the Buccaneers unbeaten (5-0).

Braylon Knauth, WR, Lake MinneolaHad 155 yards receiving and two TDs, including a 66-yarder, against Mainland.

Churandy Duval, RB/SS, Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee): Talented senior ran 31 times for 175 yards and a TD in a 31-24 overtime loss to Melbourne.

Dylan Edwards, RB/CB, Lake Howell (Winter Park): Ran 10 times for 83 yards and returned a punt 92 yards for a TD to help the Silver Hawks stun previously unbeaten Pine Ridge (Deltona), 21-20.

Jackson LaTour, QB, Oviedo: Senior completed 15 of 20 passes for 330 yards and four TDs in a 35-7 victory against Timber Creek (Orlando).

Marquet Williams, WR, Oviedo: Caught four passes for 76 yards and two TDs against Timber Creek.

Gustavo Garcia, K, Orlando Christian Prep: Senior boomed three field goals to lift the unbeaten Warriors (5-0) past Union County (Lake Butler), 22-21.

Troy Saladin, QB/ATH, EustisCompleted 18 of 31 passes for 368 yards and six TDs in a wild 63-45 victory against Foundation Academy (Orlando).

Cason Cherry, QB, The First Academy-Leesburg: Junior tallied 270 yards and five TDs and recorded an interception on defense in a 48-22 victory against St. Francis Catholic (Gainesville).

Brogan McNab, QB, Holy Trinity Episcopal (Melbourne): Completed 16 of 24 passes for 290 yards and five TDs in a 36-6 victory against Father Lopez (Daytona Beach).

Ashton Flores, WR, Warner Christian (South Daytona): Recorded more than 200 yards receiving in a 32-20 loss to Marco Island.

Brady Hart, QB, Cocoa: The sophomore star signal-caller completed 14 of 20 passes for 225 yards and three TDs in a big 28-7 win against previously unbeaten Eau Gallie (Melbourne).

Joseph Tenta, QB, Heritage (Palm Bay)Threw three TD passes in a 36-9 victory against previously unbeaten Merritt Island.

Jamarion Stephens, RB, Titusville: Junior ran 15 times for 174 yards and two TDs, including a 42-yarder, and caught two passes for 21 yards and a TD to lift the unbeaten Terriers (5-0) past Fleming Island, 35-29, in a wild battle.
