Here are this week's nominees.
Jeremy Frioud, Tarpon Springs: In the first ever edition of the 'Clash of the Coast' with Palm Harbor University, Frioud led Tarpon Springs to a thrilling victory. The Spongers came from behind in exciting fashion in a 22-21 victory.
Matt Toblin, Bolles: Dealing with three straight losses to start the season, things were starting a little bleak for the Bulldogs. Toblin rallied his troops to pull off a surprising 26-21 victory over Trinity Christian Academy.
Nick Bigica, Golden Gate: Never has Golden Gate ever defeated Naples in the school's history. That dates back to 2004. Well, Bigica led the Titans to their first ever win over the Golden Eagles in a dominant 30-19 defensive performance.
Brian Kemp, Hardee: After falling hard in a 35-12 loss to Frostproof in the Wildcats' second game, Kemp's team needed to bounce back. They have with consecutive wins and Hardee is 3-1 after winning just once in 2022.
Frank Beasley, Choctawhatchee: Not many teams have dominated Pine Forest on the Florida Panhandle. Beasley had his team prepared for the task at hand and led his Indians to a dominating 35-14 win over the Eagles.
Jack Daniels, Cardinal Newman: Catholic Memorial of Massachusetts paid a visit to West Palm Beach riding a 30-game winning streak to face the Crusaders. Daniels' bunch came out dominant as the won 35-2, snapping Catholic Memorial's win streak.
Cornelius Ingram, Hawthorne: If anyone thought there would be any slowing down by Hawthorne after winning its first state championship last season is sadly mistake. Ingram led his Hornets to an impressive 42-21 win over South Sumter, a team expected to compete for the Class 2S crown.
Jay Walls, Navarre: The Raiders’ head coach notched career high school football coaching victory No. 200 when Navarre defeated Tate 45-42 in a thriller.
