Central Florida Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 14-16): Vote Now

We’ve selected 24 candidates for your voting consideration

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Central Florida football players continue to put up some dazzling numbers on offense in the 2023 season.

Athletes from seven counties produced some highlight reel performances during Week 4 games. We checked out teams from Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Brevard, and Indian River counties and nominated 24 athletes for this week’s SBLive Central Florida Offensive Football Player of the Week from Sept. 14-16.

We ask you, the fan, to decide who should be the top player selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

Chris Boddie, RB, Pine Ridge (Deltona)Had a big day with 26 carries for 278 yards and three touchdowns, including 79- and 45-yard runs, to lead the unbeaten Panthers (3-0) to a 28-22 victory against The First Academy (Orlando).

Salomon Georges, QB, LeesburgPassed for four TDs in a 42-29 loss to Ocala Vanguard.

Jayden Burgos, QB, Mount Dora Christian: Threw for 169 yards and two TDs in a 37-6 victory against Jacksonville Duval Charter.

Sabby Meassick, QB, Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee): The prolific sophomore signal-caller turned in yet another stunning performance with 485 yards passing and six TDs in a 41-19 victory against St. Cloud.

Churandy Duval, RB/SS, Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee): Rushed 21 times for 143 yards and one TD, and caught nine passes for 88 yards and three TDs to lead the unbeaten Tigers (3-0) past St. Cloud.

Nathaniel Worrell, RB, Ocoee: Ran 18 times for 113 yards and two TDs in a 39-17 Class 4 Metro, District 5 loss to Olympia.

Juan Gainous, QB, Olympia: Senior signal-caller had a superb day with four TDs (one running, three passing) in a victory against Ocoee.

Romelo Ware, RB, Olympia: Ran for two TDs and caught a TD pass against Ocoee.

Semaj Fleming, ATH, Edgewater: Ran for three second-half TDs in a big 31-14 win against Class 3M, District 3 foe Jones (Orlando).

Karson Siqueiros-Lasky, QB, Seminole (Sanford): Threw for 159 yards and two TDs and ran for another score to lead the Seminoles past Evans (Orlando), 35-14, in a Class 4M, District 2 game.

Noah Grubbs, QB, Lake Mary: The super sophomore continues to set records with 348 yards passing and five more TD passes in a 35-2 romp against Lake Brantley.

Logan Cook, WR, Lake Mary: Hauled in four passes for 110 yards and three TDs to lead the unbeaten Rams (3-0) past the Patriots.

Ty’Ray Davis, QB, Wekiva: Threw for 311 yards, including an 86-yard catch-and-score to Joshua Bennett, in a 12-9 victory against West Orange.

Stanley Anderson-Lofton, QB, Dr. Phillips (Orlando): Passed for 331 yards and four TDs (47, 29, 33 and 39 yards) and ran for a 62-yard score to lead the Panthers past Windermere, 58-35, in a Class 4M-5 game.

Cameran Dixon, WR, Dr. Phillips (Orlando): Caught three passes for 119 yards and three TDs (47, 33 and 39 yards) against Windermere.

Bryce Speed, QB, Windermere: The talented junior passed for 262 yards and two TDs and ran for another score against Dr. Phillips (Orlando).

Jackson LaTour, QB, Oviedo: Passed for 378 yards and four TDs and ran for another score to lead the Lions past previously unbeaten Heritage (Palm Bay), 42-35.

Tayshawn Benson RB/FS/WR, Heritage (Palm Bay): The powerful senior rushed 26 times for 162 yards and three TDs for the Panthers in a loss to Oviedo.

Mari Crooms, QB, Eau Gallie (Melbourne): Passed for 154 yards and two TDs and ran for a score to lead the unbeaten Commodores (4-0) past Satellite, 35-7, in a Class 3 Suburban, District 10 game.

Chris Kelley, WR/RB/FS, Merritt Island: Ran for two TDs to lead the Mustangs past Holy Trinity Episcopal (Melbourne), 33-0.

Chase Cromartie, QB, Viera: Threw for 358 yards and four TDs and ran for 59 yards and another score to lead the Hawks past Melbourne Central Catholic, 53-7.

Kwasie Kwaku Jr., SS/RB, Atlantic (Port Orange): Ran for 123 yards and a TD and passed for 51 yards to lead the Sharks past Deltona, 15-0.

Malachi Walters, QB, University (Orange City): Passed for 337 yards and three TDs and ran for 36 yards in a 38-14 victory against host Key West.

Tyler Aronson, QB, Vero BeachCompleted 11 of 12 passes for 153 yards and four TDs in a 35-0 victory against Fort Pierce Westwood.
