Vote for the SBLive Sports Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to last week's winner: Ryanne Robinson, Volleyball, Orange Park

Here are this week's nominations:

Brady Hart, Football, Cocoa: The Tigers have remained one of the state's best teams behind the play of their first-year starter. Hart was the star of Cocoa's 31-21 win over Venice, throwing for 408 yards and four touchdowns.

George Roberts III, Football, Treasure Coast: It was a run game clinic the Titans out on in a 66-28 rout of Jesuit last week. Roberts III led the calvary with 240 yards on a mere eight carries and four total touchdowns.

John Nicholas, Football, West Florida: In his last game in a 30-14 victory for West Florida, the signal caller went off. Nicholas completed 22-of-30 passes 286 yards and two touchdowns.

Brogan McNab, Football, Holy Trinity: What might be the most complete all around performance for a quarterback of last week came in a 35-26 win for Holy Trinity over Bayside. McNab threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns and then rushed for 185 and scored three more times. 498 all purpose yards and five total touchdowns is quite a night.

Cedrick Bailey, Football, Chaminade-Madonna: The North Carolina State commitment looked a lot more like himself in the Lions' 41-4 victory over Cardinal Gibbons. Bailey completed 20-of-25 for 236 yards, four touchdowns and added 27 on the ground.

Nimari Brantley, Football, Coconut Creek: Despite Coconut Creek losing to Gainesville (Georgia) on the road, the 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive tackle had himself a game. Brantley totaled six tackles, five for loss and four sacks.

Tramell Jones, Football, Mandarin: One of the biggest wins in recent memory was picked up last week when the Mustangs defeated Bolles 42-35. Jones was on point and completed 14-of-22 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns.

Dajleon Ward, Football, Leesburg: A team that entered the season with a lot of hype was the Leesburg Yellow Jackets. It's safe to say they've lived up to them so far and Ward has been a main contributor. Ward picked off two passes in the team's 34-6 win over Eustis last week.

Eddie Love Jr., Football, Fort Walton Beach: Helping snap a 20-game losing skid for the Vikings, Love Jr. was the spearhead behind picking up the dub. The running back rushed for 259 yards on 23 touches and scored three touchdowns in the win over South Walton.

Tyron Moore, Football, DeLand: When you put up the kind of numbers Moore did in the Bulldogs' 60-18 win over Centennial, you're nearing perfection. The signal caller completed 9-of-11 passes for 211 yards, two touchdowns and rushed for 62 on the ground.

Trayvon Jean, Football, Golden Gate: If you didn't really know a whole lot about Jean, well you should start to. In a statement game against Immokalee last week, Jean rushed for 208 yards on 17 attempts and three touchdowns.

Dom Paulin, Football, Leto: It has never really been easy winning games at Leot, but the Falcons are starting to turn the corner a little. Paulin broke out against Brandon, throwing for 230 yards, four touchdowns (school record) and rushing for 32 in the Falcons 26-13 win.

Rodney Tisdale Jr., Football, First Coast: Coming in a losing effort, it definitely wasn't for any lack of it from Tisdale Jr. The Buccaneers quarterback completed 20-of-36 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns in a 53-36 loss to Williston.

Jackson Jensen, Football, Wharton: We knew from the preseason Jensen would be throwing a lot. But he may set some records when it’s all said and done. In Wharton’s 50-3 defeat of Plant City, Jensen completed 28-of-41 passes for 406 yards and four touchdown passes.

Julia Irmen, Volleyball, Navarre: The senior setter is the leader in the Sunshine State when it comes to assists. Last week in Navarre's 3-1 win versus Crestview, Irmen had 48 assists in the victory.

Fallon Stewart, Volleyball, Winter Park: Facing a Keller team from Texas, the 6-foot-3 outside hitter brought her best. In a 2-1 match victory, Stewart notched 19 kills.

Andrea Record, Volleyball, Western: Among one of the state's leaders in blocks, Record had her best game of the season against Cooper City. Record tallied 12 blocks in the Wildcats' 3-2 win over the Cowboys.
