Marvin Frazier, Lakeland: One down and 472 wins to go to catch up with Bill Castle. Frazier notched win No. 1 in his coaching career as he led Lakeland to a 28-0 victory over Largo.

Tony Carter, Pine Forest: Facing your former team can sometimes just be 'another game' and that's what Carter played it down to going up against Navarre. A former assistant at Navarre, Carter led the Eagles to a 40-17 romp of his old team.

Rick Martin, Naples: Things were kinda quiet surrounding this Naples football team. A 36-19 win over Dillard last Friday will wake some folks up as Martin has the Golden Eagles at 2-0.

Don Southwell, Lemon Bay: The Manta Rays lead man has this group playing some really good football. Southwell led the team on a short week to a 47-27 win over Parrish Community to improve to 2-0.

Bob Dare, Bishop McLaughlin: In the 'Battle of the Dares', dad came out on top. Going up against his son, David, the elder Dare was able to lead Bishop McLaughlin past Keswick Christian 36-18.

Toby Bullock, Mandarin: The Mustangs seem to have arrived under Bullock after last week. Bullock led Mandarin to a thrilling 42-35 victory over Bolles to solidify the Mustangs as a team to watch for this fall.

Irvin Jones, Treasure Coast: It's time to stop ignoring the fact of how good this Titans team is. They woke everyone up after soundly defeating Jesuit 66-28 Friday night at home.
