SBLive Florida Softball Rankings (April 11): Doral Academy moves up to No. 6 after big week

Bartow remains No. 1 in the SBLive Florida softball rankings for the third consecutive week

Here are SBLive’s statewide Florida high school softball rankings, which span all classifications. SBLive’s Florida softball rankings are compiled by Ross Van De Griek and will be released weekly during the 2022 season:

The Lady Jackets remain No. 1 in our SBLive Florida softball rankings for the third consecutive week.

2. Lakewood Ranch (14-2)

Last Week: Defeated Sarasota 9-0, Defeated Parrish Community 6-5, Defeated North Fort Myers 11-0

This Week: vs Charlotte (Tues.), at Canterbury (St. Pete) (Wed.)

The Lady Mustangs have won five straight games since sustaining back-to-back losses vs Lake Brantley last month.

3. Oxbridge Academy (14-0-1)

Previous Rank: 4

Last Week: Defeated Ransom Everglades 16-0, Defeated South Fork 10-0

This Week: at Archbishop McCarthy (Tues.)

The Lady Thunderwolves have not allowed a run in each of their last three games, outscoring opponents 29-0.

4. Parrish Community (14-2)

Last Week: Lost to Lakewood Ranch 6-5, Defeated Sarasota 3-2

This Week: vs Sarasota Riverview (Tues.), at Manatee (Wed.), at McKeel Academy (Thu.)

The Lady Bulls begin a stretch of three games in three days, when they host Sarasota Riverview tomorrow night.

The Firebirds move up four spots in this week’s SBLive Florida softball rankings.

7. Lake Brantley (12-3)

Last Week: Lost to Hagerty 5-2, Defeated Lyman 5-2

The Lady Patriots responded from a tough loss to Hagerty, by defeating Lyman 5-2 in their last game.
