The Connecticut girls high school basketball playoffs are officially here as the CIAC state tournament kicked off with first-round matchups earlier this week.
The action continues with the second round getting underway on Thursday (February 29) and continuing through Friday.
The winners from this round will advance to the CIAC quarterfinals, which will be played March 4-5.
