Greens Farms Academy wrestlers Xavier Giles, Nate Taylor ranked among best in nation
With the 2023 high school wrestling season just around the corner, SBLive Sports released its preseason national wrestling rankings on Wednesday.
Two Connecticut high school wrestlers made the list, both from Greens Farms Academy: Xavier Giles at 165/170 pounds and Nate Taylor at 175/182 pounds. Giles is ranked No. 19 in his weight class and Taylor is ranked No. 21.
Giles and Taylor helped Greens Farms Academy win the overall New England wrestling championship in the spring, and the Dragons enter the 2023-24 season as one of the best programs in the country.
