CIF Southern Section 2024 girls basketball playoffs: scores, matchups, brackts game times
The brackets for the 2024 CIF Southern Section girls basketball playoffs are updated. Opening-round play of the Open Division went all as planed on Friday as all the higher seeds were victorious.
Three of the games were lopsided but the exception was Mater Dei's 56-55 win over Sage Hill in Pool A play. Pool A game featured top seed Sierra Canyon, which rolled to an 82-43 win over Orangewood Academy.
In Pool B action, second seed Etiwanda rolled to a 90-38 win over Corona Centennial and third seed Ontario Christian beat Bishop Montgomery 73-58.
Quarterfinal play continues in all 10 divisions on Wednesday.
In Division 1, top-seed Brentwood School hosts Lynwood, Oxnard takes on Orange Lutheran, Santiago plays North and Redondo Union travels to Harvard-Westlake.
