Here's an updated look at the San Diego Section rankings with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

SBLive's San Diego Section Top 10 boys basketball rankings

1. Carlsbad (22-2)

Next game: 1/30 vs. La Costa Canyon

Last week: 1

Carlsbad won road games against Sage Creek and Torrey Pines to stretch their lead in the league standings to two games. The Lancers turned around and beat Valencia-West Ranch in a non-league game on Saturday, pushing their winning streak to 14 games.

2. Montgomery (21-2)

Next game: 1/31 vs. Bonita Vista

Last week: 2

Montgomery held San Ysidro and Otay Ranch to a combined 58 points in two wins last week. The Aztecs will host Bonia Vista on Wednesday before a big non-league showdown against No. 4 Torrey Pines on Saturday night at Mission Bay.

3. St. Augustine (21-4)

Next game: 2/2 at Cathedral Catholic

Last week: 3

The Saints handled Steele Canyon and Madison to open last week but surrendered a second half lead, losing to JSerra on Saturday the Mater Dei Extravaganza. They have three games left in the regular season, beginning with a trip to rival Cathedral Catholic on Friday.

4. Torrey Pines (17-6)

Next game: 1/30 vs. San Dieguito Academy

Last week: 4

The Falcons had their four-game winning streak snapped with a loss at home to Carlsbad. They'll play their final two home regular season games this week before traveling to Mission Bay to take on No. 2 Montgomery Saturday night.

5. La Jolla Country Day (18-5)

Next game: 1/29 at Maranatha Christian

Last week: 6

La Jolla Country Day picked up a big win over Santa Fe Christian on Friday night, beating the Eagles for the second time in three matchups this season. They'll close out the season with four straight road league games, looking to seal their spot in the Open Division playoffs.

6. La Costa Canyon (16-5)

Next game: 1/30 at Carlsbad

Last week: 7

The Mavericks cruised past San Dieguito and Sage Creek in league play and overcame a 13-point deficit on Saturday to grab a non-league win over Cathedral Catholic. The Mavericks will take on three top-15 opponents this week, beginning with a trip to Carlsbad on Tuesday.

7. Santa Fe Christian (16-7)

Next game: 1/31 vs. Foothills Christian

Last week: 5

Santa Fe Christian dropped Friday's game against La Jolla Country Day, falling into a tie with the Torreys for first place in the Coastal League. A big opportunity awaits the Eagles on Saturday against La Costa Canyon.

8. Mission Hills (18-6)

Next game: 1/31 at Rancho Bernardo

Last week: 8

The Grizzlies have won all six league games by 18 points or more, stretching their overall winning streak to 14 games. Four more Palomar League games are up before the playoffs begin.

9. Rancho Buena Vista (18-6)

Next game: 1/30 vs. Oceanside

Last week: 10

The Longhorns are three league games away from an unbeaten Avocado League title. They'll host Oceanside on Tuesday before traveling to Canyon Crest on Friday.

10. Cathedral Catholic (16-7)

Next game: 1/30 vs. San Diego

Last week: 9

Cathedral Catholic beat Madison and Mission Bay to stay alive in the Western League but dropped Saturday's non-league game against La Costa Canyon. They'll play four more times in the regular season but will be without leading scorer Ty Ingram who injured his ankle.
