CONCORD, CALIFORNIA — Anthony Batson Jr. scored 17 of his game-high 27 points during the first half to lead Norte Dame Prep (Arizona) to a 64-45 victory over Modesto Christian on Monday afternoon in the third game of the 26th MLK Classic presented by SBLive Sports and hosted by De La Salle Athletics at De La High School.
Brennan Peterson and Bryce Quinet supplied 15 points each for the Saints (18-3) while both connected on three 3-pointers.
Gavin Sykes led Modesto Christian with 11 points while teammate Drevon Johnson added eight.
The Saints jumped out to a 22-13 first period lead and cruised from there.
