Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and memorable performances from the first week of 2024 in Southern California high school basketball.

TOP SOCAL STARS JANUARY 2-6

Jason Crowe Jr., Lynwood: Crowe Jr. had 128 points, 25 rebounds and 20 assists across three games last week.

Bryce Goldman, Chaminade: Goldman had 28 points and five rebounds in last week's 86-68 win over Littlerock.

Bryce Cabrera, Jurupa Hills: Cabrera had 27 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals in a 99-64 win over Riverside Notre Dame.

Timmy Anderson, Blair: Anderson averaged 32 points and nine assists in two wins last week.

Collin Haugh, Dana Hills: Haugh had 35 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a win over Bishop Diego.

Jack Madison, South Pasadena: Madison had 22 points and 15 rebounds in last week's game against Burroughs.

JJ Sanchez, Montgomery: Sanchez averaged 23 points, seven assists and six rebounds across three wins last week.

CJ Aldrich, Rancho Buena Vista: Aldrich had 25 points in a win over Rancho Bernardo, surpassing 1,000 career points as a sophomore.

Angel Ochoa, St. Joseph Academy: Ochoa had 76 points across two games last week, making 13 of 14 free throw attempts.

Tavid Johnson, Francis Parker: Johnson, a freshman, had 50 points across two league games last week for the Lancers.

Jared Martin, Central: Martin, a standout football recruit, had 37 points in last week's 72-62 win over West Hills.

Jaylene Hughes, Mount Miguel: Hughes scored 176 points over a four-game span last week.

Claire Nordeen, Fallbrook: Nordeen had 22 points, 12 rebounds, five steals and four assists in last week's game against Pacifica Christian.

Ivorii Seals, Mira Mesa: Seals had 17 points, nine steals and eight rebounds in a win over San Diego.

Kyara Walter, Mission Hills: Walter had 24 points and eight rebounds in a win over Esperanza.

Kaleena Smith, Ontario Christian: Smith had 36 points, four assists, three blocks and two steals in a win over Village Christian.

Sierra Maxwell, Heritage: Maxwell had 75 points, 16 steals, 14 rebounds and nine assists over two games last week.

Victoria Hyatt, Shadow Hills: Hyatt had 23 points, 20 rebounds and eight steals in a 49-48 win over Roosevelt.

Keilani Ganancial, Norwalk: Ganancial had 65 points and 17 steals over two games last week.

Katelyn Gallagher, Palm Desert: Gallagher had 24 points, 15 steals, five assists and five rebounds in last week's win over Banning.
