California McDonald's All-American Game 2024 nominees

There are 67 total McDonald's All-American nominees for the 2024 game; 44 boys and 23 girls

The McDonald's All-American Game announced its 2024 nominees Tuesday. The event is schedule to be played on April 2 in Houston's Toyota Center at 5:30 p.m.

The prestigious event has included some of basketball's biggest names from Kobe Bryant and LeBron James to Candace Parker and Juju Watkins.

California had three boys basketball players on the 2023 West Team. Corona Centennial's Jared McCain (Duke), Sierra Canyon's Bronny James (USC) and Jesuit High's Andrej Stojaković (Stanford).

The Golden State contributed three to the girls' team, too. Sierra Canyon's Juju Watkins (USC), La Jolla Country Day's Breya Cunningham (Arizona) and Heritage High's Amanda Muse (UCLA).

The McDonald's All-American Game committee selects just 24 players for the game (12 for each team), but the nominee list is long.
