Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and memorable performances from this past week's California State championship football games.

Top California football stars from 12/8/23 to 12/9/23

Ryder Lyons, Folsom: Lyons showcased his dual-threat ability in Friday's win over St. Bonaventure. He threw for 137 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Elijah Brown, Mater Dei: Brown capped his high school career with 298 passing yards and four touchdowns against Serra.

Nasir Wyatt, Mater Dei: Wyatt had five tackles and two sacks to help shutout Serra 35-0 on Saturday night.

Charles Williams, Marin Catholic: Williams contributed in all three phases of the game, finishing with two touchdowns, two interceptions and 288 all-purpose yards against Mayfair.

Peter Macaulay, Marin Catholic: Macaulay opened the game with a rushing touchdown and also added 328 passing yards and three passing touchdowns against Mayfair.

Braiden Bachich-Dixon, Marin Catholic: Bachich-Dixon had four receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's win over Mayfair.

Phillip Bell, Mission Viejo: Bell caught seven passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns against De La Salle.

Travis Anderson, Mission Viejo: Anderson had 10 tackles and grabbed his seventh interception of the season in Friday's win over De La Salle.

Sully Bailey, Acalanes: Bailey led Acalanes to a 35-23 win over Birmingham, finishing with 296 passing yards and four touchdowns.

Trevor Rogers, Acalanes: Rogers reeled in seven catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns against Birmingham.

Peyton Waters, Birmingham: Waters had 201 all-purpose yards and two receiving touchdowns against Acalanes.

Peter Mesa, Ramona: Mesa had two rushing touchdowns and a 79-yard interception return for a touchdown against Pleasant Valley.

Bryson Donelson, Central Valley Christian: Rushed 32 times for 202 yards and three touchdowns and had six catches for 91 yards and another score in a 45-42 win over Los Gatos.

AJ Minard, Los Gatos: Completed 19 of 26 for 356 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for a scorer in a 45-42 loss to Central Valley Christian. 

Royce Mendoza, Ramona: Mendoza had two catches for 65 yards and a touchdown and had an interception against Pleasant Valley.

Owen Long, La Serna: Long had 72 total yards, a receiving touchdown and 14 tackles against Grant.

CJ Ceron, La Serna: Ceron had a rushing touchdown, a passing touchdown and had two punts totaling 84 yards in a 21-19 win over Grant.

Wayshawn Parker, Grant: Parker had 241 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in Friday's 21-19 win over Grant.

Scott Garwood, Los Gatos: Had 17 tackles and an interceptions against Central Valley Christian. 

Devin Herrera, Woodland Christian: Herrera had six catches, 47 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in Saturday's win over Banning.

Sam Whelan, Soquel: Whelan completed eight passes for 152 yards and had three touchdown passes in a win over Jurupa Hills.

Braylon Noble, Soquel: Noble had two interceptions and a receiving touchdown against Jurupa Hills on Friday.

Gerardo Ruiz, Strathmore: Ruize rushed for 225 yards and scored five touchdowns in Saturday's win over Bell Gardens.

Aiden Selover, Colusa: Selover had three rushing touchdowns in Saturday's 33-17 win over Sweetwater.

Xzavier Crews, Sweetwater: Crews had 119 rushing yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns in Saturday's loss to Colusa.

Tanner Pigeon, Ferndale: Pigeon had three rushing touchdowns to help Ferndale take down Fairfax after trailing 14-0.

Sebastian Ikolo, Fairfax: Ikolo had five receptions for 179 yards and a touchdowns in Friday's loss to Ferndale.
