St. Vincent de Paul pulls away from Wasco: Live updates, score from California CIF State 6-AA football Championship

Heavily-favored St. Vincent de Paul led by one point at halftime before dominating the second half

PASADENA, Calif. - CIF State Championship football weekend is officially under way as of 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. 

The 15 championship games are split into three locations – Saddleback College, El Camino College, and Pasadena City College. The PCC location is host for Divisions 2-A, 4-AA, 4-A, 6-AA, and 7-A.

St. Vincent de Paul wins 27-6.

Fourth quarter:

2:21: St. Vincent puts the nail in the coffin with a 10-yard touchdown run from Casanovas. PAT is good. St. Vincent leads 27-6.

7:31: Wasco is forced to punt from deep in its own territory. Mustangs take over on their own 49.

10:18: Jack Davis runs in a four-yard score. PAT is good. St. Vincent de Paul leads 20-6.

St. Vincent de Paul starts the ball on Wasco's 18 with a fresh set of downs.

Third quarter:

1:02: St. Vincent holds b y a short matter of inches, takes over on downs on Wasco's 39.

6:01: St. Vincent opens up a 13-6 lead after Casanovas finds Mason Caturegli for a 19-yartouchdown. PAT is blocked.

Second Quarter:

11:09: Jude Granados punches it in from two yards out for Wasco. PAT is blocked. St. Vincent leads 7-6.

Start of quarter: Ram Lopez runs to St. Vincent's 4-yard line from midfield.

First Quarter:

3:53: Gabe Casanovas scrambles and finds Jack Davis for a 10-yard touchdown on fourth down. The play was set up by another fourth down conversion from Davis, who ran for 10 yards on 4th-and-inches from Wasco's 25. St Vincent leads 7-0.
