Top 25 California boys basketball rankings: Harvard-Westlake No. 1 (11/27/2023)

Harvard-Westlake and St. John Bosco remain on top, but No. 3 Corona Centennial takes slight fall after loss to De La Salle

Southern California teams began boys basketball play two weeks ago, while Northern California squads dipped their toes in the water with over the weekend, highlighted by the NorCal Tip Off Classic at Dublin. 

There, No. 4 Roosevelt-Eastvale showed their skills with a five-point win over No. 5 Riordan, missing at least five players for various reasons. De La Salle moved up 10 spots with a huge wire-to-wire win over previous No. 3 Corona Centennial

Sixth-ranked Mater Dei-Santa Ana exploded for two wins scoring more than 100 points to open the season while Los Alamitos (No. 12) and La Mirada (No. 13) each exploded into the rankings by ripping off seven straight wins each.
