Look: Ripon Christian sweeps Redwood for 2023 CIF State D3 girls volleyball championship

Ripon Christian's girls volleyball team is on a roll. 

The Knights won their second straight state title and third overall with a hard-fought 26-24, 25-19, 25-15 sweep over Redwood Visalia Saturday at Santiago Canyon College. 

Ripon Christian (37-5) finished the season with 11 straight wins, having lost just one game during that entire stretch. Redwood, making its first state appearance, finished 36-7. 

The Knights, winners of the D4 crown in 2022, were led by Leah Van Wyngarden with 15 kills and Jordan Vander Veen with 11. The Rangers (36-7) were paced by Kennedy Cutler with 12 kills and Audrey Hyde with nine kills.
