CA Central Section high school football playoffs: Scores, bracket updates
The 2023 CIF Central Section high school football playoffs kicked off on Friday (November 3) with first-round games across all seven divisions.
The top four seeds in the Division I bracket - Clovis North, Frontier, Liberty and Clovis East - received byes into the second round next week. The most intriguing matchups in the first round of the DI playoffs were Clovis West vs. Hanford and Central vs. Arroyo Grande. Clovis West pulled out a 42-30 victory and Central rolled to a 42-14 win.
