Kaleb Edwards, elite California tight end, plans to visit Oregon: Video

Edwards has impressed on both sides of the ball during Oak Ridge's 3-0 start

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) held off a late charge from Madison in the opening game at the 2023 Honor Bowl, beating the Warhawks 22-20.

Making his presence felt on both sides of the ball was junior Kaleb Edwards. Ranked as the third best tight end nationally by 247Sports.com in the class of 2025, Edwards showed his pass catching skills as well as his pass rushing skills on Friday.

As a sophomore, Edwards caught 27 passes while finishing with 628 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Entering Friday's game, Edwards had seven catches for 182 yards and a touchdown in two games this year. 

Following Friday's win, Edwards dicussed Oak Ridge's 3-0 start to the season as well as his plans to take an unofficial visit to Oregon during his team's bye week later in September.
