Grace Knox, 5-star junior wing, transfers to reigning state champion Etiwanda

Knox, who stands 6-foot-3, leaves Las Vegas to join the reigning CIF Open Division State champions

5-star wing/forward Grace Knox has transferred to Etiwanda, per Etiwanda head coach Stan Delus.

Knox, a Las Vegas product, spent her sophomore year at Nevada state champion Centennial, but did not play due to an injury. As a freshman in 2021-22, she was already one of the top players in Nevada at Spring Valley, where she averaged 13.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Etiwanda is coming off its first ever CIF Open Division State title and back-to-back season-end rankings as the No. 1 public school team in the country. Despite graduating two key starters, the Eagles were expect to remain in state and national championship contention with 5-star senior wing/forward Kennedy Smith, 4-star junior point guard Aliyahna "Puff" Morris, and senior forward Mykelle Richards all returning.

Knox entering the fold ensures that Etiwanda, the third-ranked team in the country to end 2022-23, will enter next season with its most highly-touted group yet.

The addition of Knox comes off the heels of the transfer of Jerzy Robinson, the top-ranked player in the Class of 2026, to Sierra Canyon – against whom Etiwanda has split four meetings in the last two seasons for section and regional championships.
