St. Augustine stayed unbeaten with a win and a tie against Point Loma last week.

SAN DIEGO SECTION TOP 10 BASEBALL RANKINGS

1. St. Augustine (7-0-2)

The Saints opened league play against Point Loma and won the first two in the series before battling to a 4-4 tie in ten innings on Friday.

The Knights showed off their power with 31 total runs in two wins over San Pasqual and Ramona last week. They've tallied 15 home runs as a team in only eight games.

3. Rancho Bernardo (6-1)

The Broncos were upset by Mission Hills last Monday but bounced back with a 10-9 road win against Sage Creek on Thursday. Junior Kevin Takeuchi homered in both games.

4. La Costa Canyon (6-1)

The Mavericks have won six straight since their opening day loss to No. 5 Granite Hills. They have a team on-base percentage of .424.

5. Granite Hills (7-2)

Granite Hills

Granite Hills was walked off against Scripps Ranch on Monday before bouncing back with a win over Bonita Vista to even their season series with the Barons at one each. Senior third baseman Grant MacArthur has an OPS of 1.970 through the first nine games.

6. Eastlake (6-3)

The Titans beat Helix and Grossmont last week. They're averaging over ten runs per game over the past three games.

7. Santana  (8-2)

The Sultans have won four straight and outscored Madison and Cathedral Catholic 26-6 in two wins last week.

8. Canyon Crest (5-1)

When senior Sam Garewal is on the mound the Ravens are capable of beating anyone in the county. He's 3-0 with 44 strikeouts and hasn't allowed a run in 20 innings.

The Lancers have won four straight including a 5-3 win over No. 10 La Jolla Country Day last week.
