Congratulations to Etiwanda girls basketball small forward Sa'lah Hemingway for being voted SBLive’s Southern California High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 21-27!
The junior had 23 points in Saturday's comeback victory against Sierra Canyon.
Hemingway ran away with this week's honor, receiving 73.17% of the total vote.

Bailey Barnhard, Del Norte girls basketball: Barnhard had 29 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks against Rancho Bernardo on Tuesday.
Kyara Walter, Mission Hills girls basketball: Walter had 18 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks against Cathedral Catholic on Wednesday.
Emmy Stout, Maranatha Christian girls basketball: Stout had 34 points and 24 rebounds in Thursday's CIF Championship win over Rancho Buena Vista.
Jared McCain, Corona Centennial boys basketball: McCain had 20 points in Friday's championship game to help the Huskies win the Southern Section Open Division title.
Tyler Bey, Fairfax boys basketball: Bey scored 21 points to lead the Lions to their ninth Los Angeles City Section championship.
Jake Hall, Carlsbad boys basketball: Hall finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds in Friday's win over La Jolla Country Day
Jurian Dixon, St. Augustine boys basketball: Dixon had 21 points on Saturday to help the Saints hold on to win against San Ysidro.
Mikey Murray, St. Joseph Academy boys basketball: Murray had 31 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists in Thursday's win over Valley Center.
Jaden Matusalem, Mt. Carmel boys basketball: Matusalem had 29 points in Wednesday's upset win over top-seeded Montgomery.
JJ Sanchez, Montgomery boys basketball: Sanchez had 30 points and six steals against Mt. Carmel on Wednesday.
John Hapgood, San Dieguito Academy boys basketball: Hapgood had 25 points to help the Mustangs win their first CIF Championship since 1965.
Seth Brown, Rosamond boys basketball: Brown didn't score against Monache, but managed to grab 16 rebounds and block ten shots in the 62-40 win.
Moses Wright, Rosamond boys basketball: Wright, a freshman, had 16 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists in Tuesday's win over Monache.
John McFadden, San Juan Hills boys basketball: McFadden had 21 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists in Tuesday's win over St. Paul.
Kai Morphy, Bishop Diego boys basketball: Morphy averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks per game last week, leading the Cardinals to the Southern Section D3-A CIF Championship.
Sebastian Chandler, Harbor Teacher boys basketball: Chandler had 33 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks and five steals in Saturday's win over Reseda.
Vanessa Linke, San Marcos girls soccer: The senior goalkeeper helped her team win the CIF San Diego Final with big saves during the game and 2 saves in the penalty-kick shootout.
