The playoffs are already getting close in California high school basketball, and the state's top teams and players have been pulling the stops out down the stretch of the season. Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and individual performances from last week throughout Northern California.

GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Kanyah Stubbs, Hanford G:

Stubbs led the Bullpups to a 2-0 week putting up 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 5.5 steals per game. Amarys Cuellar also had a huge week for Hanford.

Melia Kamalani, Minarets G:

Kamalani averaged 31 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 6.5 steals per game last week for the 1-1 Mustangs.

Gabrielle Abigor, Berean Christian F:

Abigor led the Eagles to a 2-1 week averaging 29.3 points per game, and posted 24 rebounds and at least seven blocks in two of the matches.

Ella Skrzyniarz, Vista del Lago G:

Skrzyniarz outscored the opposition in a pair of wins last week with 25.5 PPG, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and five steals per game on a whopping 71.9% FG and 79.7% EFG. Sofia Lendahl also had a standout week for the Eagles.

Aaliyah Thompson, Corcoran C:

Thompson averaged 26.7 points, 13.3 rebounds, 4.3 steals, and 2.3 blocks per game on 59.7% shooting last week as the Panthers went 3-0 in blowouts. In fact, Thompson scored more points than their three opponents combined.

Jocelyn Medina, Pierce G:

Medina averaged a cool 44.5 points per game last week as the Bears went 2-0. Their opponents only averaged 27 points a game.

Elle Ladine, Pinewood G:

Ladine averaged 19 points, 16 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and three steals per game on 50% shooting (58.3% EFG) as Pinewood went 2-0. Alex Facelo also had a great week for the Wildcats.

Sophia Williams, Evergreen Valley F:

Williams helped lead the Cougars to a 2-0 week with 15.5 PPG, 17 RPG, four APG, and 5.5 SPG. Ryka Apremeyan also had a standout week for Evergreen Valley.

Ava Uhrich, Burlingame F:

Uhrich averaged 12.7 points, 18 rebounds, five assists, and 2.3 steals per game on 50% shooting for the 3-0 Panthers.

Brianna Humphrees, Dixon F:

Humphrees led Dixon to a pair of blowout wins last week on 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and four assists per game on 59.5% shooting. Janie Ming also had a huge week for the Rams.

Kaitlin Imai, Scotts Valley G:

Imai averaged 24.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, four assists, four steals, and 3.5 blocks per game last week as the Falcons went 2-0.

Katie Leeth, Lincoln (Lincoln) F:

Leeth registered yet another week of the season averaging over 20/10 on over 50% shooting, putting up 21 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 3.5 blocks per game on 64.8% shooting for 2-0 Lincoln.

Gracie Williams, Valley Christian (Roseville) G:

Williams helped lead the Lions to a 2-0 week scoring 24.5 points per game. Christelle Williams averaged nearly 20 PPG for Valley Christian as well.

Peyton Holcomb, Benicia G:

Holcomb averaged 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, four assists, and 3.5 steals per game for the 1-1 Panthers.

Mikayla Bumgarner, CORE Butte F:

Bumgarner registered 28.5 points and 14 rebounds per game last week for the 1-1 Lynx.

Cierra Thibodeau, Orestimba C:

Thibodeau dropped 30 points, 12 rebounds, and four steals in Orestimba's only game last week, a rout of Summerville.

Stevie Lundquist, Mendocino G:

In the Cardinals' only game last week, a 30-point rout of Potter Valley, Lundquist went off for 33 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and seven steals on 15-20 shooting.

Morgan Ross, Head-Royce F:

Ross went off for 32 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, three steals, and three blocks in the Jayhawks' only game, a 70-13 blowout of College Prep.

Kelly Tumlin, California G:

Tumlin averaged 30 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game on 56.7% shooting (68.3% EFG) for the 2-1 Grizzlies.

Meadow Rowland, San Joaquin Memorial F:

Rowland played in two of SJM's three games last week, and led them to wins in both averaging 21 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, six steals, and four blocks per game.

BOYS BASKETBALL:

Jojo Hunter, San Joaquin Memorial G:

Hunter averaged 38.5 points per game last week in two wins. In one of them, an 87-28 drubbing of Madera, he dropped 39 points on 18-24 shooting in addition to 10 rebounds, two assists, and five steals.

Orion Tomlinson, Fresno Christian G:

In the Eagles' only game last week, a 93-50 rout of Wonderful Collegiate Prep Academy, Tomlinson erupted for 33 points on 15-27 shooting plus 16 boards, two assists, and two steals.

Ronnie Roche, Kings Christian G:

Roche led the Crusaders to a pair of blowout wins last week on 31 points per game.

Asa Heckmann, Apostles Lutheran F:

In the Falcons' lone game last week, a 67-51 win against Summit Denali, Heckmann erupted for career-highs of 32 points and 18 rebounds on 50% shooting, and added three assists, two steals, and six blocks.

Casen Chaney, Ponderosa G:

In Ponderosa's only game of the week, Chaney posted a 29-point triple-double with rebounds and assists, and added two steals as the Bruins trounced Rio Linda 101-53.

Aidan Braccia, Sacred Heart Prep G:

Braccia, the reigning NorCal AOTW, turned in yet another dominant week for the Gators, who went 3-0. He recorded 23 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game on a crazy efficient 64.3% FG and 82.1% EFG.

Jaden Haire, Hanford West F:

While the Huskies came up just barely short in both games, Haire averaged 30 points and 20.5 rebounds per game last week.

Sunny Varisano, Mendocino G:

In Mendocino's lone game last week, a demolition of Potter Valley, Varisano erupted for 31 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, five steals, and two blocks on 13-21 shooting (3-3 3FG).

Juanluis Rubio, Rio Linda G:

Rubio averaged 31 points per game across four games last week to go with 4.8 RPG, 3.8 APG, two steals, and 3.8 BPG.

Tai-Run Williams, Vanguard College Prep F:

Williams led the Lions to a 3-0 week with 28.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, six assists, and three steals as a game.

Elijah Mobley, Weston Ranch G:

Mobley lifted the Cougars to a 3-0 week averaging 31.3 points, seven rebounds, 1.7 assists, and three steals per game on a massive 68.3% shooting.

Omari Nesbit, Burbank G:

Nesbit averaged 24 points, 6.5 rebounds, three assists, and 4.5 steals per game on 59% EFG for 2-0 Burbank. Isaiah Griffin also averaged over 20 PPG for the Titans.

Malakai Miller, Central Catholic G:

In two games last week, both wins, Miller averaged 27 points, seven rebounds, 1.5 assists, and two steals per game on 48.5% shooting.

Derrick Claxton, Inderkum F:

Claxton led Inderkum to two blowout wins with 31 PPG, five RPG, and two APG on an amazing 70.6% shooting.

Amrin Mann, Sutter G:

Mann posted 25.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and three assists per game to lead the Huskies to a 2-0 week.

Ameere Britton, Elk Grove G:

Britton averaged 18.3 points, six rebounds, 6.7 assists, two steals, and 2.7 blocks per game for the 2-1 Thundering Herd.

Carson Stephens, Liberty (Madera) G:

Stephens averaged 26 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and 1.7 blocks a game last week for the 2-1 Hawks.
