Here are Scorebook Live’s Top 10 LA City Section high school baseball rankings for the week of March 4th. The rankings are put out weekly by Scorebook Live California reporter Connor Morrissette.

1. San Pedro (2-1-1)

The Pirates are 0-1-1 in their last two with a loss to Palos Verdes and a tie against South. No City team has won consistently enough to take over the top spot though.

2. El Camino Real (3-3-1)

ECR lost a hard fought game to a good Thousand Oaks team on Monday 4-2.

3. Cleveland (5-2)

Following two slip ups against Hart and Sierra Canyon, Cleveland has blown out Golden Valley and Agoura.

4. Birmingham (4-2)

Birmingham ended its four game winning streak with a 6-0 loss to Thousand Oaks last week. They play Sylmar today.

5. Kennedy (5-2)

Kennedy has won two straight over Palisades and Poly.

6. Roosevelt (5-2-1)

The Roughriders lost to Palisades and Venice in mid-February, but they're 4-1-0 in their last five games. That stretch includes a win over Granada Hills.

7. Granada Hills (4-4)

Granada Hills beat Verdugo Hills 9-3 on Tuesday.

8. Sylmar (4-3)

The Spartans have won three in a row over Santa Paula, Verdugo Hills and Chatsworth.

9. Palisades (2-2)

Before beating Verdugo Hills in their last game, Palisades had lost four straight.

10. Venice (6-2)

Don't look now but the Gondoliers have won four games in a row.
