Here are Scorebook Live’s Top 25 Southern California high school boys basketball rankings for the week of January 13th. Our rankings encompass the Southern Section, LA City Section and San Diego Section. The rankings are compiled by Scorebook Live California reporters Connor Morrissette, Bodie DeSilva and Lance Smith and will be released weekly during the regular season.

TOP 25 SOCAL BOYS BASKETBALL RANKINGS

1. Sierra Canyon (16-2)

After losing two of three during the holiday period, Sierra Canyon is back on top following a 78-62 win over Rancho Christian on Saturday.

2. Rancho Christian (16-3)

The Eagles were beaten up by Sierra Canyon on Saturday 78-62, but remember they're the one Southern California team with a win over the Trailblazers on the year.

3. Harvard-Westlake (17-2)

Harvard-Westlake started Mission League play 2-0 with wins over Loyola and Alemany.

4. Corona Centennial (16-2)

Corona Centennial has won their last three games in blowout fashion. They're a Southern Section Open Division lock.

5. Etiwanda (16-2)

Etiwanda beat Renaissance Academy 54-35 on Saturday. The Eagles play incredible man to man defense.

6. Mater Dei (15-3)

Mater Dei is 2-0 in the Trinity League. A massive game with St. John Bosco on Friday awaits.

7. St. Anthony (21-1)

St. Anthony has won three blowouts since beating Harvard-Westlake 58-57 two weeks ago.

8. Heritage Christian (17-2)

Heritage Christian picked up an important win over Bishop Montgomery 65-61 at Real Run two weeks ago. Their two losses are to Santa Clarita Christian by three in double overtime and to St. Bernard by two.

9. JSerra (16-3)

JSerra was upset by Santa Margarita 45-43 last week but followed that up with a 55-54 win over St. John Bosco.

10. St. John Bosco (14-5)

The Braves came back to beat Servite 71-67 in their first Trinity League game last week, but then fell to JSerra 55-54 in game two.

11. Santa Clarita Christian (13-5)

Santa Clarita Christian surprisingly lost to Taft 71-64 on Saturday. The Cardinals have some very impressive wins on the year though. They've beaten Rancho Christian, Heritage Christian, Chaminade and Washington Prep.

12. Windward (16-4)

Windward beat Crossroads 62-42 to begin Gold Coast League play last week. They also beat Nevada Desert Pines 51-50.

13. Ribet Academy (13-1)

Since losing to Sierra Canyon, Ribet has won against St. Bernard, Fairfax, West Ranch, Renaissance Academy and Mayfair.

14. St. Augustine (16-3)

The Saints began Western League play with a 63-52 win over Christian. Their best win is over Riverside Poly.

15. Damien (15-4)

The Spartans have won five games in a row. They're off to a 2-0 start in the Baseline League.

16. Chaminade (17-3)

Chaminade won a tight Mission League opener over Crespi 73-70 last week.

17. Riverside Poly (15-3)

Poly has won four blowouts in a row. They will dominate the Ivy League.

18. Renaissance Academy (14-6)

Renaissance has dropped their last two to Ribet Academy and Etiwanda.

19. Fairfax (13-3)

Fairfax beat St. Bernard 66-65 over the weekend.

20. Capistrano Valley (17-1)

The Cougars won a huge South Coast League game against Mission Viejo on the road 41-40 last week.

21. St. Bernard (14-5)

The Vikings lost by one to Fairfax on Saturday. They play St. Anthony Wednesday.

22. Washington Prep (10-9)

Washington Prep had last week off. They have a massive Coliseum League game against King/Drew on Wednesday.

23. Rolling Hills Prep (17-2)

The Huskies have rattled off five double digit wins in a row since losing to Chaminade in the Classic At Damien.

24. King/Drew (11-4)

King/Drew has a huge game against Washington Prep on Wednesday.

25. Oxnard (20-1)

The Yellowjackets debut this week. Their one loss came against Chaminade.
