Congratulations to Kennewick senior Ayoni Benavidez for being voted Scorebook Live’s WaFd Bank boys basketball player of the week!

Benavidez averaged 25.5 PPG last week in two games for the Lions against Rogers and Mt. Spokane

Benavidez received 35.37% of the vote, beating out Wenatchee'sGarrett Long who finished with 28.8%

Micah Paulsen, Hockinson: Paulsen finished the night with 36 points for Hockinson in a 74-55 win over Mark Morris. 

Chase Collins, Adna: Collins finished the night with 27 points, making 9 out of 11 three pointers for Adna in their 83-43 victory over North Beach. 

Liam Hanenburg, Lynden: Hanenburg’s 30 points and 10 boards helped Lynden to a victory over Cedarcrest. 

Haden Hicks, Prosser: Hicks put up 30 points for Prosser in their matchup against Toppenish.

Kaden Perry, Battle Ground: Perry netted 38 points in Battle Ground’s 69-67 win over Skyview. 

Aaron Von Bruck, Nathan Hale: Von Bruck scored 17 points to go along with 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals in Nathan Hale’s 72-71 victory over Seattle Prep.

Cobi Campbell, Puyallup: Campbell scored 28 points for Puyallup in their 76-67 win over Kentridge.

Garrett Long, Wenatchee: Long poured in 44 points for Wenatchee to help them defeat Moses Lake 77-68. 

Earl Lee III, Davis: Lee III netted 39 points on six three pointers while going 9 for 9 from the charity stripe as Eisenhower won 86-72.
